byron lakeside holiday was even better than our previous stay! spacious, cosy, and safe - perfect for our family. water pressure, beds, decor were all fantastic. walking distance to town or a quick drive. garage with internal access was a plus. hosts sam and wayne went above and beyond.
Wifi was inconsistent.

Spacious units, well equiped, nice setting.
General upkeep could be improved. Units were large, and appeared to have been given brief once over with cleaning.

Two bathrooms.
Single beds uncomfortable. Could only get WiFi connection outside the front door.

The three bedroom apartment at Byron Lakeside was absolutely amazing! The spacious living area and well-equipped kitchen made me feel right at home. The private bathroom was an added bonus, and the queen bed in the main bedroom was so comfortable.
Personally, I found the en suite bathrooms in the two and three bedroom units a bit small. However, I understand that others may still appreciate having an additional bathroom.

A quiet location with easy access to the township of Byron Bay and nearby Suffolk Park where family were staying during the school holidays.
Some maintenance is needed to Unit 13. The cupboard door under the sink in the kitchen was very loose and is almost off its hinges and doesn't shut. A light bulb in the kitchen and one in a bed lamp did not work. The sliding doors at the rear of the unit are very tight and difficult to slide. Apart from these maintenance issues we found it a very comfortable unit.

Spacious Apartments: Walking into our apartment at Byron Lakeside was like walking into a cozy home away from home. The spacious living area and fully-equipped kitchen made it easy for us to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring Byron Bay.
Lack of Kitchen Supplies: The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was the lack of kitchen supplies. It would have been convenient to have some basic cooking ingredients provided, such as salt, oil, and spices.

Handy to everything. Clean, relaxing, quiet units.
We stayed in unit 21. There are some things that need to be fixed in this unit. The freezer doesn't freeze, no bulbs in bedside lamps. locks on some doors broken. light over cook top broken, some blinds in bedroom broken. The brochure states dvd players in units, there wasn't one in this unit. Other than that they were comfortable enough for a short stay.

Our recent stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! the value for money was outstanding - we got so much for what we paid. Secondly, the attention to detail in the rooms was impeccable - everything was clean and well-maintained. Finally, the location of the hotel was ideal, comfortably just away from the busy town center. We had a peaceful stay while still being close enough to enjoy all the attractions.
Everything was great - no complaints whatsoever.

Close to everything you could need. Large family friendly. Very Private although there were many guests which meant more relaxation. Apartment was big enough for the seven of our family without walking on each other. Have already arranged with other family members to all go together!!!
There wasn't anything to complain about.

I recently stayed at Byron Lakeside Holiday Apartments in Byron Bay for a business trip, chosen by my director. The pool area was a fantastic feature of this hotel. It was well-maintained and I particularly enjoyed the BBQ facilities available for all guests to use. It was a great place to relax and socialize, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the hotel.
I had a negative experience with the staff at Byron Lakeside Holiday Apartments.

Good facilities, staff were friendly and very accomodating. If there were any issues, they were put right very quickly. We stayed with our 10 month old baby. The apartments are spacious and well equipped for our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant surroundings - nicely laid out - quiet.
There were just a few small things we thought could be improved upon: We had trouble finding the place - there didn't appear to be a sign on the main road to direct us. The map seemed to indicate it was situated on the main road. We were allotted an apartment which we found was not serviced when we walked in. The staff member was very apologetic and gave us another apt. We were there for the Writers Festival weekend and weather was really beautiful but the nights and early mornings were freezing. We would have appreciated electric blankets. Also we found that blankets had not been put on the beds and had to find some and make up the beds ourselves. A quilt was certainly not sufficient warmth on winter nights. The apartment numbers are only on the entrance doors and we were searching for our apartment in the dark. Most of the porches are behind shrubbery and we kept having to get out of the car to find the number we were looking for. Maybe nos. Could be duplicated on the garage doors. The dishwasher hadn't been unpacked when we arrived either and the cupboards were pretty bare. We realised why eventually.
